The Civil Engineering Department is one of thefounding Departments of SBSSU, Ferozepur since 2011,over the years, has growntremendously, and is now recognized a some of the best and majorEngineering Departments in the area. With its multifaceted faculty itprovides high quality teaching and research. We provide every attractivefacilities and an environment for those who join the Department as Faculty or Student.
The department has a strong focus in the researchareas of Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, EnvironmentalEngineering, Structural Engineering, Remote Sensing, and Construction Technologyand Management. The Department has certificate course in Testing of BuildingMaterials along with its traditional B.Tech. programme in Civil Engineering.Department has 08 high end teaching and research laboratories in theseareas.
The Department is actively involved in basic andapplied research and consultancy and provides high quality technical advisorysupport through various R & D projects and consultancy to variousorganizations.
The Department is well known because of ourmulti-talented alumni. Several former UG students of this department are invarious top most prestigious positions globally in different sectors likeacademia, research organization, industry, government bureaucrats etc. As perthe vision and mission, our aim is to deliver the best to our students, to thesociety and the nation.
