Founded in 2010, the Department of Computer Applications is a centre for research and education at the UG and PG level.

Strong research groups exist in areas of Network Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Pattern

Recognition and Cloud Computing. Close ties are maintained with researchers with computational interests in departments 

of other universities. Department has highly dedicated, motivated, well qualified and experienced faculty. 

Labs are equipped with latest hardware and software as per needs of various courses.

The main educational goal is to prepare students for research, industry and teaching careers either in universities or

in industry. The department is offering Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA– 3 Year Course), Master of Computer

Applications (MCA - 2 Year Course), PG Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA – 1 Year Course) and Ph.D

(Computer Applications) to cater to the growing demand for trained professionals in Internet and Communications

Technology, Research and Educational Institutes. MCA course duly approved from AICTE, New Delhi.

Following are the specific objectives of this department:

1. To teach Computer Application courses at UG, PG levels.

2. To train manpower with a view to protect environment and optimal utilization of Management skills & IT applications.
